Can't say I'd even thought of sanitizing my caps...
Never had an issue but as a lot of people have said if you have it out already for the 60 seconds longer it takes why not....
Amazingly simple solution, going to have to make one for sure!
Much easier than dragging a keg from one end of the house to the other just to clean a line...
I'd just let it finish up in the keg. Can hit the relief valve now and then if you want but like Double D said their shouldn't be too much more CO2 made at that stage.
Where on the keg is it leaking from? From the lid or the gas post?
Is the lid O ring in good condition? How much pressure did you put on the keg to make it seal?
I got started with a kit off ebay, 2 kegs, tap and all the stuff you need short of CO2.
This is the Kit I got but they are in Australia I imagine you can get something similar.
Thanks for the reply strumke, your setup sounds like exactly what I want.
Only got two taps but having flexibility to serve anything would be good.
Are these the connectors your talking about?

Pin lock connectors
I currently have two pin lock kegs with a dual tap system and have recently gotten hold of a CUB D coupler which I indeed to use for an up coming party. (Save everyone drinking all my homebrew)
Am I able to get the pin lock posts by themselves so that I could quickly swap from the cornys to the...
Basic two tap system may look at getting a third later on.
Fridge was free and haven't bothered to do much of clean up on it yet, too busy keeping the kegs full :mug:
