    White floating sediment

It's not my personal recipe. I followed the recipe northern brewer gave me in the bomber barley wine extract kit. It's pretty simple.

    White floating sediment

They were fizz drops. I feel as though when i use fizz drops i get white floating sediment but it doesn't usually look this big. Now I primarily use DME and have since moved to 5 gallon all grain batches and haven't had anything like this happen since. I'm about to brew a couple batches and...

    White floating sediment

Can anyone tell me what this is? It is a one gallon bomber barley wine kit from northern brewer I made in November 2017. All bottles have the same "floaties". The beer doesn't tastes great but i dont think it's infected..I could be wrong but carbonations levels are normal. It was one of my first...

Can I use this to keg and carbonate my brews?

Hey guys, I'm still fairly new to the home brew scene and I know absolutely nothing about kegging home brew so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I've got a few brews under my belt and I just recently started doing 5 gallon all grain batches and have been bottling. I've been wanting to build...

    Is this an infection?

I made a mistake in the post description. This is actually the "bomber barley wine" recipe kit from northern brewer (One gallon). 45 minute boil, cooled in an ice batch, siphoned, and bitched yeast into fermentor same night. I skipped the yeast starter which I now know was a mistake. The OG was...

    Is this an infection?

How can I avoid this? I suspect this might be due to the fact of it being a rescue batch. The American ale yeast that I originally pitched went dormant and never started to ferment. I'm pretty sure the wort was just too cold. However, with no brew stores around my only choice was active dry...

    Is this an infection?

This is a black ipa that I bottled on the 15th. I had a couple turn out similarly to this and don't taste too bad but this is by far the worst. I read on another thread that floaties can sometimes, but not always lead to infections. Any help w ould be greatly appreciated.

What's this strange sediment floating in the top of my bottle?

I used pectic enzyme in the cider. And the cider I fermented by itself is clear as day. I hope your right though lol wouldn't be so bad.

What's this strange sediment floating in the top of my bottle?

Hello! I'm some what new to brewing. I've got a few batches under my belt. I brew a bit of everything but most recently I brewed a graf which is a beer and cider hybrid. I made a gallon of cider and brewed a Belgian tripel one gallon batch. I combined the two together in a two gallon fermenter...
