My wife is another unsung hero of homebrew. She delabels and cleans all my bottles! I didn't even have to ask! Bottle reclaiming imo is the most tedious part of the hobby, so God bless my wife and God bless you good lady!

I thought Stout was just a strong porter. Higher alc porters were called stout porter and eventually the porter designation fell off and they were just called stouts. I read that on the interwebs so it MUST be true...right!?!? ::smile::

I don't think there will be much difference. I just did the double choc stout from AHS and it was straight forward. I used the white labs liquid yeast that came with the kit. As far as the oatmeal goes, I think you just steep them like the other specialty grains.
