Anyone willing to share some Rhizomes?

Hovik, The Cascade rhizomes I picked up last year did great. I got 3-4oz out of them and actually planted them late in the summer. If you can make it down to Oceanside one of these days I'll dig one up and cut you a few.

Show us your sculpture or brew rig

I finally finished my wood rig thanks the the inspiration received from this thread, especially Scuba Steve. Single tier natural gas. The hoses were swiped from a bio med facility we demolished a few months ago. My biggest concern is my homemade false bottom. It's 16 ga. SS so it should hold but...

    Beginner Grain Brewer

Have you thought about using a refractometer? They only take a few drops to get a reading and you wont have to worry about contamination. My buddy has one, real easy to use, very accurate, and only $25 on ebay. And the best part, they don't break as easily. I swear if I even look @ my hydrometer...

    Hydro help?

Have you tried hopville.com yet? It comes up with 1.032 OG and 1.009 FG 75% efficiency. ABV would be 3.1%. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that BeerSmith has but it works for me.

Anyone willing to share some Rhizomes?

Hovik, Yeah, he said that someone emailed him and bought every rhizome he hadn't sold (40 or 50 left). I picked up a few so if they produce I can cut some roots off for next grow season.

    St. Patrick's of Texas

Bsquared - Thanks for the help but I actually purchased the stuff in my post from St. Pats. I couldn't find the reducer and gasket anywhere. Bobby M - I can assure you I have nothing to do with St. Pats. I would only purchase from them again if I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere else...

    Anyone looking to go pro?

I used to work @ a brew it yourself store in Fort Collins until it went out of business in '99 or '00 (cleverly called Brew-It-Yourself). They had to auction all the equipment off and it sold for pennies on the $. Those systems are amazing. Steam jacket kettles could bring 17 gal to a boil in 2...

Anyone willing to share some Rhizomes?

Someone in Poway is selling them for cheap if you can make the drive down to North County. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/grd/2889795517.html

GySgtLynn, you wouldn't happen to be a member of North County Homebrewers would you? Anyways, kudos to helping out a fellow homebrewer. I think its' a great idea and when I start to upgrade I'll be doing the same.

    St. Patrick's of Texas

Dead post but... I wish I could bash these guys like everyone else on HBT but I needed a few parts that no one else online had. I called them, asked a few questions (including home brew questions), got great responses, ordered the stuff and it arrived within a few days with no hassle. I needed...

    Brewers Hardware????

+1 for Brewers Hardware. Ordered stuff the night of 2/10 and added an item the morning of 2/13. Emailed Derrin and asked if he could combine the shipping and he did with no problems. My delivery arrived on 2/15. I was amazed how fast it shipped. And it's all great products. Derrin, please open...

Keggle MLT flase bottom number of holes

Yes, pics please. I just picked up a 16 ga sheet of stainless and I don't have a shop to drill the holes for me. I don't want to cut corners but 300+ holes will take an idiot like me while to drill. They gave me extra stainless so if anyone in San Diego has a lot of free time and needs a false...
