I have a bag of Amber DME to use up so I figured I'd do a Dubbel for Thanksgiving. Here is my recipe
Batch size: 1.25 Gal
Boil: 30min
Malt:
0.9lb Amber DME
0.9lb Pilsen DME
4oz Candi Syrup 45L
Steep:
2oz Special B
2oz Caravienne
1oz Aromatic
1oz Extra Special
1oz Dark Munich...
Looking at making a dubbel and these are my top yeast options. The marketing copy is identical. The Omega is marginally more expensive but very local.
Anyone had experience with both care to compare?
