    Trying to raise my OG

After reading a little bit of the thread, it kind of sounded like the grain was being crushed nice to start so id check that off. My best guess is going to be the mashing process. I am not sure how you are doing it, but if you don't get a good extraction then ur not going to get good gravity...

Brainstorming my next IPA - Huckleberry IPA

I've played around with huckleberries in the berry form which were flash freezed after being picked and it was alright in a porter. It sorta takes a lot of berries to get the taste you will be trying to extract. So I think the extract would be the best way to go, which you are doing. Instead of...

    Azacca Hops??

Such a tasty hop. The mango really shines through with the tropical aspect of the hop, I used Chinook to bitter my ipa with all azacca and it was so good.

Bad results with PB2 and Vodka. Anyone try pasteurizing?

Has anyone threw it in second fermentation without doing any sanitation techniques? Im sure someone would have notes on it. I really think its fine to toss it in, especially if you are doing a dry hop on top of that to. I will post on my results when I use it with this method.

    Pale Ale - 1st Recipe ?'s

The cascade is going to be a real subtle bitterness, maybe Columbus for a small decent battering charge? I have bittered with cascade at 2oz 60min mark and just didn't get the desired charge I would of liked unlike using columbus or chinook, but looks like a nice recipe with the later additions...

    IPA recipe help...

152 degree mash and should add the sugar right when the boil starts to be the nice rumble, then throw it in because it'll bring the boil down. Once it starts again then you are good to start the 60min timer, that is just my method when using sugar. Another suggestion I would add is a touch of...

Bad results with PB2 and Vodka. Anyone try pasteurizing?

why not just toss it into secondary and just let the beer mix it in? I don't think you would contract any wild yeast and stuff because it wouldn't have any sugars present because the last yeast already powered through it or am I mistaken? I have been reading up on this PB stuff which i'll be...
