Looks like AAW is no longer in business - low RPM, high torque option, 3 roller Kegco?

Mine is Bodine 42A5BEPM-E2, probably the same motor with a different ratio reducer. Didn't matter to me since I used the PWM for variable speed. $49 + shipping in Jan 2017, and actually free because it was damaged in shipping due to poor packing and they refunded me. This is the controller I...

I have almost exactly that same motor and run it with a PWM controller (also Bodine) that allows you to control the speed. It has been working fantastically for ~ 5 years. I have the advantage of being an electrical engineer, so the setup was straightforward. :)

    Tapping into existing drain pipe

I did a very similar project ~18 months ago and paid a plumber way too much. In my case, I had to tap into cast iron pipes, so it was much more difficult than your PVC job. I will try to post photos in the next few days to show how he tied into the vent and drain from the kitchen sink above...

    WLP500 Dilemma

The problem is a tripel needs a large healthy pitch to finish. There's nothing worse than an under-attenuated tripel, which characterizes many HB versions. Keep an eye on your attenuation and don't hesitate to add the M47 if it appears to stall.

    Atlanta brewers - water treatment

I'm in Brookhaven in Dekalb, but I think most of metro Atlanta is very similar - a very clean slate. I do use a carbon filter as well as Campden tablets, since I believe most of our water is treated with Chloramines (which the filter will not remove but Campden does) as opposed to Chlorine...

Iittala beer glasses - are the best!

Interesting that camel camel camel doesn't show the $55 price until today, 10/1, the day after your original post.

For Sale Getting out of hobby. $700 OBO central Oregon Coast

That's a helluva deal for someone local. And I have 2 of those big ass whisks; beat the hell out of mash paddles.

For Sale SF Bay Area - Keezer loaded with extras for sale!

Nice, but that certainly looks like a 5CF freezer, not 7. My 7CF holds 4-5 ball lock kegs on the floor, not 2.

Your chance to trial a FREE Pinter!

Hops, hops, and more hops (and even less hoppy beers). Pinter would allow me to experiment with smaller batches.

    Craigslist Deal of the Day

I assume you must be talking about the listing in Buford, not Duluth. He must have done some research, because he quoted what the big keg is worth. It's still a fair price, but more than I want to pay for something I really have no immediate use for.

    quick connect/disconnect co2 line

6 years ago, I order a set of quick disconnects from Home | Nordson MEDICAL similar to the ones from MoreBeer shown by others. I am sure that they have gone up in cost considerably since then, but a copy of my invoice is shown below. I have these installed on all my gas (and I think beer)...

    Yakima Valley free shipping

I agree if you are looking to buy just hops. However, some of their grain pricing is pretty good, especially if you don't have the option for local group buys for full bags. If you want hops and grain, then this s a great time to buy from YVH. I buy most of my hops from YVH, but usually in...

I still had almost 2 years left on the 3-year renewal from last year, but could not pass this up. I am now good for almost 3 more years. Glad to support the AHA.
