looking to make the recipe at the beginning of this thread but only want to do a 3 gallon batch ... I use BeerSmith and can scale down the grains and such but having issues figuring out how much cider to use
So I added some mulled cider spices to the carboy and they have been there for maybe a week or so...was thinking of racking it and adding some vanilla bean to soak in it...thought?
may add some lactose before bottling
I am considering scaling back the amount of brewing I do ... Don't really drink as much as I used to and mainly brew to give gifts during the holiday .
I am considering brewing batches of 1.5 gallons at a time... I can scale my recipes using Beersmith software ... Any other things I need to...
