    Yeast mishap

Hi all, I had my yeast table top stirring in a stir plate and had it closer than I thought to my hot liquor tank and it got to 100 degrees. It was there for about an hour. I put it in the fridge. It is a Saison yeast if that helps. Should I pitch it or start over. If I have to start over...

    Greetings From Fenton Michigan

Hello. Name is Ron and I have been brewing for about 5 years now. Was an extract brewer for the first year then went to partials because I found a better brew store. I am now in my 9th batch of all grain using. 3 retired half barrels, two Blichman burners and one pump. Had a few learning...

    First time brew

Should I have thrown away all of the sediment from my boil. I used grain and two bags of malt extract and hops, I had a lot of junk on the bottom when I transferred into my primary fermenter. Or should I have dumped everything in the primary? Thank a lot. Ron
