Thanks for the help. I'm looking at a couple of extract kits from Austin Homebrew Supply (one or two wheats/hefes and maybe a Mexican Amber for the summer). Each kit has the option to chose between a couple of liquid yeasts and a dry yeast.
I just started extract brewing and had two questions about yeast.
1) Is there a large difference in the finished product when using liquid yeast vs dry yeast? Just wondering if it's worth the extra couple of dollars for liquid yeast.
2) I'm ordering a couple kits and may have to wait a...
Thanks for the advice. The Mexican Amber does sound good but I was wondering if that would be closer to Dos Equis Amber or Negra Modelo? Both would be an upgrade over a Corona-tasting beer though in my opinion.

Hi everybody. I have a question for anyone who has brewed the North Rim Wheat extract kit from HBO (HomeBrewers Outpost).
Does anyone know what the FG should be for this brew? I know the OG is supposed to be around 1.044 but I cannot find anything about the final gravity reading.
Any help...
