You may not be wrong. But, it does seem strange that 1056 wouldn't be marketed as a dry yeast, were that the case. Not saying you're wrong. It would be nice to know why it's done that way.

I'm heating my strike water for this beauty in about four hours. I had my first black IPA a few months ago and have been drooling over this recipe for about a month. I can't wait to try this.

I pitched the "super slurry". It was anticlimactic. No real change from US-05's baseline operation for a light ale. It just went like normal and pooped out around 1.012. It was really just a waste of a Wyeast pack. Won't make that mistake again!

Bottled my first batch ever 1-week ago and it's already gone! But, I gave a lot out to friends and family and jacked 3 L of it. Anyway, FANTASTIC stuff, Paps. The second batch is going now. I'm going to have to keep this in rotation as it's already in high demand!
