    Both. And definitely not a leaky seal on the bucket, as I am using a carboy. As far as timeline, are we talking days (5 have already passed) or hours? I just need to know if I have time to order, or if I need to take a road trip to a supply shop somewhere.

    Tv Guilty Pleasures.....What are yours?

    The current guilty pleasure in our house is Ringer. It's insanely stupid, but we keep right on watching. We also watch a lot of the cooking shows mentioned in this thread, but I wouldn't characterize them as guilty pleasures.

    Recipe ideas for a coffee porter

    Similar, but different, I make my favorite Porter recipe, and then after fermentation I rack to a secondary and add in 5 cups of brewed coffee (cooled). I imagine the end results are pretty much the same as LuthersLagers' method. Cheers.
