    I made a christmas cider and my wife wants it still but a little sweeter. If i add the camden before i bottle and add some frozen juice to sweeten would this work or do need to go out and get some sorbate also?

    I kind of figured that but better safe then sorry...this is my first time making a cyser i don't even know what it will taste like i used champagne yeast so i know it will come out dry... i've made edwort's apfelwein before is it similar to that.

    I'm doing a cyser experiment... I 3 1 gallon batches going all with 2lbs of honey and different juice. what my question is with one gallon batches would you rack it to a secondary my fear is that i will lose to much and if i do rack it can i just top it off with juice

    insulating the HLT?

    Try to find some local Insualtion shop and deal through them Home Deport and other shops like that wouldn't help even if they had that stuff they would rip you off. If you are having trouble finding a shop call up Local 47 Heat and Frost Insualtors and they should point you in the right direction.
