    What brewery are you visiting?

Nowhere right now, but SWMBO gave me a trip to Santa Rosa to visit Russian River. Now I just have to find a date and see if we can squeeze in a tour at the new production facility and a stop at the pub.

    Ommegang Rosetta

What of this process would allow it to be ready so much quicker? I know my knowledge is dated, but adding fruit and bugs to my already fermented clean beer seems like it will take a while.

    Ommegang Rosetta

I would be all ears in terms of suggestions for the next go around on it. This was the first batch/attempt. I am just happy to have something with bugs in it finally going. As a recap this is a Flanders brown recipe pulled from brewing classic styles fermented in primary with 001 and now has 3...

    Ommegang Rosetta

So I finally got around to making this happen. Brewed a Flanders brown ale recipe from brewing classic styles and then added 3 pounds of sweet cherry purée. As you can see from the photo, the carboy may be a little full... here’s hoping for the best!

    Rosé Beer

Hmm. I had never thought about adding finished wine. Do you think would be better than grape must? It would certainly be easier.

    Rosé Beer

I think for the pink color, I am going to use hibiscus. Seems like that gets you a very deep color. I’m really trying to get an idea as to what the base beer should be. Wine addition?

    Rosé Beer

Listened to recent Brew Files and pitched the idea to my fiancé for our wedding in June. So now, I am making a rosé beer. However, can’t find too many recipes. Any thoughts?

Rescued this goober out of an orange grove about a month ago. Love at first sight. Last photo is the fluffy conclusion of his first at home bath.
