I use Bar Keepers Friend for my stainless steel kettle. Obviously not going to work on the inside of bottles though. Its more of a rubbing cleaner than a soaking cleaner but it will take anything off. Even rust and discoloration from heat. It is also very cheap and can be used were PBW is not...
I will be doing a 1 gallon batch of this soon. I'm subbing the Newport with Sorachi Ace because thats the closest thing I could get at the time. I'm using all organic grains except the black malt.
This beer seems to fit in the Strong/Old Ale (19A) style according to the BJCP.

I've used this method "https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/easy-stovetop-all-grain-brewing-pics-90132/" wich is similar. It came out great. I still brew that way with some changes to that method but now I have a 32L BrewKettle and a kettlescreen so I don't so I don't use the grain bag...
wow. my second brew ever was a partial mash of this and it kills me even tho its not even carbonated yet.
