    Fermenter cleaning

I use bleach. I just finished my first batch of wheat beer. Replaced all the fermentable sugars with 3.3lbs of Honey...turned out FANTASTIC, but that's besides the point...i've just been rinsing my bottles and fermenter with clean cold water...and then let them soak in bleach and water...

    Fermenter cleaning

I might be incorrect on this one, but i've read multiple places that...unless it's "Dishwasher" soap, then using any form of soap to clean your equipment is bad. The leftover fatty oils ruin head retention... Like i said...i'm no exert...just something I read.

Thanks for the advice LGI! Haha, nothing is wrong with Soju...it's delicious, except it has been outlawed in the dorms because some pilot thought it gave you wings. So, basically he jumped off a 2 story building and did the majority of landing with his face. Luckily, brewing in the dorms...

    A home-brewing addict is born!

Hello everyone, I'm in the USAF and I'm currently stationed in Korea. I came to the conclusion a few weeks ago that I really need a hobby to pass the time over here, so I took up beer making. About three weeks ago I ordered the Coopers micro-brew kit along with their wheat beer kit. I...
