Interesting comments. At the endof the day if its goin to make a crap beer then its not worth 2 bob. More thought someone here may have tried it already and could shed some light on things. However if thats not the case im only to happy to try myself, but having 120 long necks still in stock im...
Stumbled across a yeast by chance(but seems its commonly used amoungst home distillers)that ferments 25ltrs in 24hrs to 14% ABV. Maybe everyone knows about this stuff, but i havnt heard of it. Has anyone tried this or somthing similar in a beer brew, or is it even possible to use?
Seems like...
Update - Being a first brew I obviously drank it way to early. But never noticed anything wrong with any of it besides the flavours were all over the shop as it went from semi-green to pretty dam good by the last bottle.
On a side suggestio for the burner, grab one of those cheap camping gas cookers. There like $30 at your local camp store or even cheaper at your local big box variety store(Kmart and BigW here in AUS). They take like a fly spray can style of burner gas that usually come in cheap 3 packs. Or use...

Cheers Gr8shandi, that link looks good for a read.

Hey Goodsuds, cheers for that info. Yeah, after reading here it...
