I was thinking you could extract the bitterness of hops buy boiling in a quart of water or maybe a different amount than adding that water to the rest of the wort.

Along with 1 lbs corn sugar
My target gravity was 1.079 and I got 1.070

Taste is nice and drinkable. being that the beer is room temp and not carbonated. i got lucky with this one.
