    ok yea no the copper tubing comes up 2-3 in above pot then 90 degree turns out another 3-4 in then vinyl tubing is placed on that...

    wort chiller question

    Im building a wort chiller and I wanted to know if when you place it in the boil to sanitize it do you remove the plastic pipes for running colder water through? Or does it not matter?

    wort transfer

    Does anyone know if you can use an auto siphon to transfer wort after a boil once its brought down to the cold break temp under 80 degrees without melting/breaking the auto siphon...or should I just get a funnel with a screen and pour it into the glass carboy.
