Got the jacket today and the other items I ordered are slated to arrive on Monday. Got to admit I'm a bit disappointed that the top of the fermenter remains uncovered with the jacket. That leaves a very large surface area without insulation.
The odd thing is the stuff I was able to "pre-order" hasn't shipped but the jacket (which I couldn't pre-order) that i ordered on official launch day shipped yesterday. I don't get it? Add to that I ended up having to pay shipping on the jacket since it wasn't part of the bigger order. Oh well.
Never had an issue with the probe falling out with just pushing it all the way in. If it makes you feel better you could tightly wrap some aluminum foil around the probe to increase the friction fit.
But the pieces will be available individually as well right? As I mentioned, only need the jacket and heater for my CF10. Any possible indication on timeline?
Come on guys, where are the temp control systems??? (Actually all I need for my CF10 is the jacket and heater) I am in the market for a 7 gal to add to my CF10 but won't buy until the "whole package" is available and the delays are making me look seriously at your competition. :(

Looks like you've gotten your questions answered and I'll second not reusing caps! You could...
I used the pump from my Marks keg washer and it worked perfectly. I ran a hose from my hot water line of my deep sink to flush first and the again after the hot PBW wash.

Yes, tap water usually has at least chlorine and some have chloramines (like yours). Campden tablets will take care of that and yes, pretty much everyone that brews with tap water uses them. Your report shows a much higher level of sulphate as compared to chlorides which is going to accentuate...
