Hi, I had a Wyeast Propogator ready to blow and I didn't have the two cups of DME available to make my yeast starter. I substituded 1 cup LME and 1 Cup dextrose....? Think it will be ok, for yeast starter???

I love carboys! Easy to clean; w/jet washer! I believe they are funner to watch yeastie activity! Plus, I ony use the 6.5 with handles and always sit down on carpet. I use them for everything.. !

Ok "Cheap" being the keyword, go to your local Coca Cola Bottling dealership and see if you can buy syrup kegs, usually only 7-10 bucks, then purchase a 20 oz CO2 bottle, addapter and couple connectors through you beer in keg and off to local creek for some great fly fishing...! Currenlty...
