    First time yeast washing question

I did some searching on stepped starters and decided to do that. I'm hoping to get a lot more from this. That's too bad that yeastcalc.com is still down. I'm not sure what you mean by this?

    First time yeast washing question

I did my first yeast washing on Thursday night and I have a concern with the amount of yeast I harvested from it. I added 4 pints of sterilized water to the yeast cake and agitated it for about a minute. I then drained off 4 pints into separate pint jars and let it set for 30 minutes. The...

    Specific Gravity question

Last night I brewed an AG grain batch and took a SG reading after mash out. It was 1.034 compensated for temperature and the wort volume was 7.5 gallons. I forgot to take a post boil SG reading before I pitched the yeast and put it in the fermenter. The post boil volume in the fermenter is 5...

eHERMS element won't fire - HELP

I just went out and "fiddled" around with it again and decided to plug in the RTD thermo and voila, it worked! I guess the Auberins PID has a feature that won't allow the element to fire unless the thermo is plugged in?

eHERMS element won't fire - HELP

I just spent the last couple months building my new eHERMS system and completed it late last week. I spent this past weekend putting it through its paces to make sure everything was working properly. It worked perfectly! I ran 2 "mock batches" through the whole system with just water and...

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

This is the diagram I need for 2 element, single PID, 2 pumps right? I'm assuming the timer shouldn't be that hard to wire into this? Can I put the "Panel Power 2-way switch" instead of the E-stop? It looks like there is a 2-way switch in place of the 3-way switch for going between...

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

I guess I wouldn't need the second PID if I could control the BK and HLT with one PID. I have to assume that I would need an extra 3-way switch to go between the BK and HLT? I already ordered the 2nd PID and corresponding RTD thermometer...let me know so I can either stop the shipping of these...

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

I've searched for a wiring diagram for the panel I'm making on a eHERMS build and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I get close with a couple of PJ's diagrams but not exactly what I'm looking for. I posted a similar question in a different thread and somebody there suggested I post the...

    30A 2 Element 2 Pump 1 Timer diagram?

You have a wiring diagram for this? I'd rather do what I originally ask for, but I haven't bought the 2nd PID yet.

    30A 2 Element 2 Pump 1 Timer diagram?

I've searched for a wiring diagram for my panel and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I get close with a couple of PJ's diagrams but not exactly what I'm looking for. Can somebody direct me to what I need? My panel will have: 2 - 5500 watt elements 2 - Auber 2352 PIDS 1 - Auber...
