    IPA Hops All Outa Whack!

^^^ This I dry hopped an IPA with 1oz willamette and 1oz cascade about a week ago. They're pretty much my go to hops for an IPA. Smelling pretty damn amazing at the moment, still yet to taste though. Time to cold crash and bottle! Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    IPA Hops All Outa Whack!

Yeah looks pretty light on the hops for an IPA. 4-6 oz of hops for a regular OG IPA is about standard for me. Just throw the willamette's right in the primary for the dry hop and you'll get some great hop aroma. Your IBU levels will probably be low for an IPA so it looks like you'll get yourself...

Help!! BJ's Heferweizen in new Keezer!

I'm no expert but I believe getting the correct pour/balance from your system is dictated by the length and inside diameter of your beer lines. Too much stuff suspended in beer after secondary? (Dry hop problem?)

I usually dry hop for a week and get no problems with off/grassy flavours. I guess it would depend on the type of hops used, however I'm definitely no expert on the subject! I'm sure the beer will turn out great! Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Too much stuff suspended in beer after secondary? (Dry hop problem?)

How far into primary did you transfer and what yeast did you use? I usually stick it in the fridge for a few days to cold crash and it clears up. I always dry hop with loose pellets and never have much problem with stuff left in the finished beer. Just be careful not to disturb the beer or suck...

Got some yeast. What should I brew?

Never realised it was the Chimay strain. Kinda cool as Chimay white cap is one of my favourite Belgians. Was thinking of doing a clone of that or another simple tripel recipe, but I'm also thinking a christmas ale might be in order. Something like a spiced dubbel? Made a few Tripel's before and...

Got some yeast. What should I brew?

Long story short, I got sick of formulating new recipe idea's, heading to the LHBS to grab the ingredients, only to find they didn't have the yeast I wanted to brew that particular style. So I did the sensible thing and went and grabbed some yeast first with the idea of formulating a recipe...
