Yep, looks like the free shipping offer is no more.

50 lb Sack of Briess 2 Row $49.99 with free shipping

That’s weird, thanks for pointing that out. From what I could tell many or all of their sacks of grain are listed with free shipping right now, the Briess happened to be one of the cheapest so I used it as the link.

    Hop Spiders

Arrgh, I just did this a couple weeks ago, wish I’d seen this thread. I have the same mesh filter you have, 6”x14” stainless one that hangs on the side of the kettle. I didn’t feel like it was getting the amount of circulation I wanted from the boiling wort for a 5 gal batch so I put it on the...

I would be interested (if its not too late). I have the wifi controller for my ferm chamber and would be interested in trying this to monitor the ambient temperatures using the Inkbird app.

    That horrible feeling...

I think I’ve seen other threads that give some details on how many kegs you can get from a CO2 fill. The hydroponics shop I go to now charges $22 for a 20# swap.

    That horrible feeling...

I tried our local Airgas and they wanted almost $100 to swap out my new 20# tank (less than a year old) for one of their crappy ones, no fills for me locally unfortunately.

    That horrible feeling...

My local homebrew shop closed last year where I used to swap out my CO2 tanks, I hadn’t thought about planning for that when I ran out recently. Luckily I found a hydroponic supplier nearby who does 20# tank swaps, so now I’m good to go.

Williams Brewing has a winter clearance sale on now which among other things includes 55 lb sacks of Belgian Pale Ale Malt for $29.99. Shipping costs may make this less attractive, but if you in the Bay Area you can pick up. Product page says price is good through 1/23...

Free shipping on sacks of grain from F.H. Steinbart

I was thinking the same, unfortunately they were sold out of the Lamonta that I wanted to try. Looking forward to having 55# of Maris Otter though!

Free shipping on sacks of grain from F.H. Steinbart

This has got to be a mistake, right? It seems like they would be losing money on every sack of grain they shipped.

1 pound Hop Sampler for $8 at AIH

Nice, I like Idaho 7 and Cashmere, I was hoping for some of those in the mix.

1 pound Hop Sampler for $8 at AIH

I received my order today, each bundle ended up being identical and you can see the 8 hop varieties that were included in the photos. I was a little disappointed that both packs were exactly the same, since the product listing stated that “each bag will be unique”... Still an interesting...
