    quick update on blueberry wheat

    I'd like to know how both of the brews turn out. jimmythefoot & RM-MN please keep us updated. My first try at a blueberry wheat turned out mediocre at best. I used blueberry extract tough. Another good blueberry beer to try is SweetWater Blue. So if you ever find yourself in the south east...

    Here is the link from their site: http://www.ghostriverbrewing.com/tours.htm You will need to hurry. They are about to expand so they can brew more beer & add a bottling line. After construction starts there won't be anymore tours until it is finished. It is very close to Beale St. So after...

    Ghost River Brewing tour

    I went to Memphis TN this weekend and toured the Ghost River brewery. Got a couple of growlers of their Black Magic beer. I'm glad they are expanding. I haven't found any of their beers that I dislike. I just wish that some how it would get distributed in Arkansas. To anyone living in...

    Low Carbonation due to a tard moment

    Cool, I'll just let it sit for a few more weeks. I've got a nut brown ale and a mix-of-leftovers to brew. That will get my mind off of wanting to drink what's bottled :) Thanks for the advice.

    Low Carbonation due to a tard moment

    I'm on my third batch of home brew. The first two came out great. Third batch got me. I didn't use enough sugar when I bottled. It was a 2.5 gallon batch, I used 1.5oz of corn sugar. I should have used around 2.25oz. I let it sit in the bottle for 2 weeks. The beer tastes OK. It's just...

    NB American Wheat ++

    I brewed this as my 2nd batch. I used a 6g glass carboy with an airlock. I had no issues at all during fermentation. I added 3oz of blueberry extract. It took a little longer for the flavors to even out than I expected. After 3 weeks in the bottles it was very good though.

    Beer Cart

    OK I am a bit on the lazy side and moving around a full glass carboy got old quick. After my first brew session I found an old base to a bread rack with casters and turned it into the beer cart. Fits into the closet perfectly.

    Moving on from Mr. Beer Help

    I got a Mr. Beer kit for my birthday. I brewed the Witbier that came with the kit. It turned out so well that I ordered the equipment for 5 Gal. batches from Northern Brewer. I have an IPA left over from the Mr. Beer kit. I don't care much for IPA. Since this is hopped LME is there anything...
