    Homebrew competition

how long have they been conditioning? I would say that if the have already carbonated you are going to have a really hard time maintaining the carbonation and quality of the beer. but you never know if you have two bottles that you are willing to sacrifice then give it a try.

    bottle tree ?

The holes a two inches and they are spaced 1 inch apart. The frame was made from some rough cut pine I planed to 3/4 inch and ripped at 3/4. That way frame and the supports are smaller than the space between the hole so the bottles never touch the wood.

I have an apiary (I'm a beekeeper) and if there is one thing that I know it is honey... and beer. honey is not very soluble in liquid unless it is warm and priming is done at room temp (for ales) and it is not easy to incorporate the honey in the beer unless the honey is warm. If not you will...

    4 wheeler kegerator

sure you could set up camp. but I think that they are planning on a big day long ride, and they want to be able to drink it on the go. The problem would be to set it up so that they can stop and go and still have a good poor. I understand that its not needed because you could just bottle the...

    4 wheeler kegerator

Hey all A friend asked me if he would be able to take a keg of my beer on a wheeler ride and my first thought was no way, but now I thinking... well maybe? With the right regulator set up, enough hose for resistance, and if they don't mind a little sediment it maybe possible. I could be...

Can I bottle yet?(I have gravity readings)

I would agree bottle away! If you didn't make a starter that maybe the cause of the delayed start to the fermentation and the hight FG.

    AG equipment advice, please

Depending on the tools you have. a 1/2 barrel can turn into a nice cooker for up to 10 gal batches.

    4 Gallon Buckets

Depending on how well the lids seal you could use them to store your grain once you make the leap to all grains.
