I just bought 2 inch styrofoam insulation and sketched out a chamber involving 2 chambers but i might end up waiting for a fridge to show up on craigslist.
thanks for the advice guys! I always get answers from this great site!
so the heat in southern nevada is starting to arrive and I'm not gonna let it stop me from brewing! I don't have too much money to build this chamber with so I was looking for some economical ideas. I've noticed that many other builds use mini fridges to cool but I do not have one and haven't...
my plants still haven't sprouted and it's been about a week. i think i might have put the rhizomes a little too deep. i wasn't thinking and i put them about 3 inches under instead of the 1 inch i've been told.
i'm in green valley. i'm an extract brewer... still pretty new to brewing but i love it!
yeah my two chinooks are in a shaded spot but will still get a few hours of direct sunlight at the end of the day when the sun is not so high. what are you guys trying to grow?
so i'm attempting to grow hops and i live in southern nevada. half of the fruit and vegetable plants i've tried to grow have burnt up in the heat even when planted in decently shady areas. i am wondering if anyone has had any success out here. or in any desert for that matter :mug:
usually i just keep my brews in primary for 2 weeks then throw into secondary and so far its been fine. but this is my first high gravity brew with an og of 1.096 and i was wondering at what gravity i should put it into secondary?
