Wish I'd read this awhile back. Recently did an Imperial Pumpkin Ale that tasted fantastic but had very little carbonation. I assumed I had screwed it up. After drinking a good amount in a semi-carbonated state I only have about eight left. I went on vacation and came back 1.5 weeks later and...

Pumpkick is good, but really, any pumpkin ale that isn't too malty/sweet would be great. Looking for subtle herb/fruit/spice. Crisp! Thanks again!

I heard that the city of Bend is looking to pass a law to limit the number of breweries because they are concerned about possible water shortages. Evidently a lot of water is being exported by all those breweries over there. That or the existing breweries don't want any more competition...

Hey all. Looking for some help. I just tried the New Belgium Pumpkick for the first time (a fall ale that was put out in August... Still trying to figure that out) and it knocked my socks off. It's a not-too-sweet pumpkin ale with cranberry and wheatgrass to even out the sweet. Loved it. Want...

Good advice. I panicked when I had a 1.040 reading on a beer that was supposed to be 1.053. I decided to do a 2nd reading from the bottom and guess what? 1.072 ! *relaxed*
