Because "chilled" is relative. Summers here can get 110 plus, during those days I'm lucky to get my wort below 100.
I understand plastics can be a personal issue, but I wouldn't put >80 wort through vinyl/pvc. I have been working toward eliminating all plastics from the "hot" (to me >80)...
The FC is slightly elevated. From here, I will siphon straight to kegs.
As far as drying the hose, I'm beginning to wonder if I should hoist the middle into a 25' tree. This was supposed to be easier. :/
Just assembled my new fermentation chamber and added enough silicone tubing to pump straight from BK to primary in FC, no more lifting! But one question: Does anyone know how to properly clean and dry 50' of silicone tubing?
Actually, what he said was: "I need you to provide me the specific URL for the last one. It's the only thing I need clarification on."
Not trying to steal the prize, but clarification is not confirmation.
I'm no lawyer, but it still seems wide open to me.
"2. Locate a post that uses the words beer more than six times"
Unless it's a typo, the OP asked for the "wordS" "beer more than" six times. Not the "word beer more than six times"
Technically, still up for grabs.
I put 2-4oz of whole hops in a hops bag tied to the end of a 2' ss spoon. Otherwise, i found no amount of weight would hold the bag to the bottom of the keg.
I went with the 15gal stainless steel sankey keg with false bottom for a mash tun as i am not partial to what happens when you mix 150 degree mash with plastic for an hour. Wrapped in a green military foam mat, it only loses 1 degree per hour and allows for 5 or 10 gal batches.
