    Violently active fermentation

    What yeast? S-04? That will do it especially if it isn’t temp controlled. I tried the big mouth bubbler lid once and ditched it. I also ditched the bubbler and try all kinds of different fermentors and I finally went back to the good old glass carboy and I haven’t looked back.

    It’s probably the honey malt. I bought a couple pounds of it and read up on it and what I gathered it is can over take over your brew pretty easily.     Get rid of haze

    Cold crashing and gelatin when it is cold will make a huge difference. The whirfloc actually should make the gelatin work better.

    just received old yeast

    Thanks. I have been wanting to do a Tripel and I just stepped up my equipment to do step up mashes. So I think I will save this and give it a go.
