Just about any other inconvenience is worth the final fix of the advanced editor recipe wipe, but I do agree with you on the clicking. Recipe must have at least one fermentable but you start with 0 fields and have to click to add one? Sloppy. The ingredient search does seem a little less finicky...

Maybe they changed the composition? I'm at about 2 dozen plus a pretty aggressive cleaning schedule (the new beta cleaning recipe runs for quite a bit longer than the built-in one) and I don't have any crazing.

Issue isn't cleaning the plastic; issue is cleaning non-plastic parts of the interior—especially the heat exchanger—without being able to use chemicals that would damage the plastic as they pass through.

IIRC it has to do with the Zymatic adapter since they're discontinuing those step filters. Seems a little silly to generate an extra failure point for regular Z users but I guess molds are expensive.

Personally, I'd just learn to do stovetop BIAB with no automation. Automation is expensive and at small batch sizes BIAB is almost as easy with about the same amount of hands-on time loading the ingredients, the difference is pretty much just whether you absolutely need to be able to load...
