    Experimental Beer Imperial Pilsner

Sounds good, are you going to serve out of the same keg that you're lagering in? Are you just setting your kegorator a bit cooler and using that to lager in?

    Experimental Beer Imperial Pilsner

So how long exactly did you let this lager for? I'm looking to make this as my first lager, and it sounds great. Also this might be a dumb question, but do you rack to secondary right before the lager step? Thanks, Adam

    Chilling with ice bombs

I'd also be concerned about the plastic on your ice bombs melting in the hot wort. I had my keggle in a water bath with some ice bombs and the plastic bottles all melted which was no big deal, but if they were in my wort it would have ruined my day!

    HELP!!! My thermometer broke!!!!

I had this happen to me. I didn't realize it until I had the batch in the fermenter and was cleaning up. I let the batch ferment out and was super careful when I racked. The beer turned out fine.

    Calculating AAU's

I was wondering how those of you who grow your hops at home are able to calculate the AAU's in your home grown hops? Is it really no big deal, and you just go by weight and what you would expect that particular hop variaty to have? Thanks so much, Adam
