I have heard that full volume boils make a big difference in flavor. The brew kettle I have now won't hold five gals of boiling wort. So I can't speak from experience.

My LHBS, by the name of BIY Homebrew Supply, sells a Falconer's Summer Flight kit. They put it together themselves, and it turned pretty dang good! The Falconer hops really without being overly bitter. A good beer on hot summer day...I wonder if I have any left.

Thanks guys for the good info! I saw food grade buckets at menards while picking up some stuff for work. Would these 5 gals bucket make good secondary fermenters?

I'm new to the world of brewing and cidering. I have some cider in my primary and don't own a secondary. How long can I leave my cider in primary? If I leave it in primary to long will I get off flavors?
