    Rhubarb Beer

When I brewed mine it was an American wheat with 3lbs of strawberries and 3lbs of Barb. Results were a good drinkable beer. But the strawberries didn't come through and it was really tart I would like to do it again but pass on the berries and do just the barb and either back sweeten or use...

Am I the only one who dislikes IPAs?

/begin rant It's been said before and it'll be said again. Drink what you like. There isn't a book of manliness (womanliness too :-P) that states that you have to like every type of beer on the planet. I honestly hated Belgians when I first started drinking beer and now I can't get enough...

    noob in Elk County

They are going to probably get $45-65 in scrap so some where in that ball park would be a fair price. If they have homebrew roots they might even give it to you knowing that you were going through the right channels.

    noob in Elk County

The way I've scored my kegs for keggles was going to a local craft beer brewery and seeing if they have any old "to be recycled" kegs that they don't use any more. Or you could check out the few online places that sell the completed keggle which are quite expensive.

    Largest IPA you've ever brewed?

I made a ~110 IBU 11%abv a few months back that got rave reviews from almost all of my friends. 6oz of hops in boil and 1 dry hop.

York, Harrisburg and Lancaster Pennsylvania Brewers Unite

There is a lancaster brew club that has quite a few members. I also know there is an informal one through the York Mr. Steves. That one meets the last wednesday night of the month. I haven't gone yet but was thinking of bringing my peanut butter cup stout and getting some critiques. :mug: :tank:

I hate to brag but it's so much fun.

I am working on a recipe. Gonna try a few rounds but the website says it's aged for a year. I can't wait that long.
