    Brewers friend light and hoppy

A little update on my beer. I have pored a few more and it's totally different now. It's tasting way less watery and more malt characters are showing up. Becoming a great tasting ipa. A little side note I did the gelatin clarification process on this batch and it works awesome. This may have...

    Brewers friend light and hoppy

Has anyone used RO/distilled water and the light and hoppy profile on brewers friend? I did this with my last ipa and it turned out to have little to no malt profile. Really hoppy water. Brewed all grain and my mash temps were on. OG and FG were on. Trying to figure out if it's the recipe ...

First time Dry Hopping - uh oh

Fermentation can still be going with no bubbles. Only thing that will tell you if it's done is a gravity reading. Life's a brew, drink it.

First time Dry Hopping - uh oh

I second cold crashing but wait for no signs of fermentation. Also I wouldn't rack to your secondary till you have a gravity reading that is staying the same for at least a day or two. Go by what your beer tells you not by what your recipe tells you. Every fermentation is different. Should be...

    ferm chamber ?

You can do what I did if you have a keezer. I built my chamber on the side and control two computer fans with a stc1000 to blow cool air when needed. My chamber hold two car boys but you could build it bigger. Life's a brew, drink it.

Good beer store near Grand Lake St. Marys?

Pantry pride in st Mary's. You can't mix and match but they get the some things the wine store can not. I've gotten zombie dust there. When it's was in ohio briefly. Life's a brew, drink it.

    Fermentation chamber build.

I have to been learning so much here I thought it was time to share. I added a second keg and another fermentor giving me the ability to brew two beers at a time now. I use to use my keezer as a fermentation chamber while I didn't have any beer in the keg. With the new additions I lost the use...
