I found out that Auberins SYL-2362 PID has compatible chinese siblings HP612 and XMT612.
They have almost the same pin layout (chinese versions have J2 NO contacts only , Auberins NO/NC) and same menu/programming mode.

I've acquired all 3 that PIDs and decided to see how they looks inside.

Enjoy:

sexy. Amazing the amount of electronics for a few simple functions. . . Nice work.
Question - did you get them back together? Do they still work? Conclusions?

Wish I would have known this before I bought the TD4s. I haven't gotten fully setup yet, but the initial testing I have done is good... I just hate the little retainer clips to keep them in place. Worthless.

Of course I put housing back and they all work as before.

If you want same functionality as from Auberins PID but for less money use HP612 or HMT 612.

However Mypin is still cheaper .

have you really noticed a difference in functionality between these and mypins? I have only really used mypins and have had no issues but wonder if im missing out on something?

Auber (and its analogs) is more versatile, flexible and has more ways to be fine tuned.
But in most cases you need only basic functionality. And MyPin is a good choice.
