2014 Season Kick-Off :: Inaugural California Hop Exchange

Howdy Hop lovers! Here is a free event that our company has put together for all of us!

"Ruhstaller invites the regional craft beer community – hop farmers, brewers, and enthusiasts from amateur to professional – to the Ruhstaller Farm & Yard for a casual meet-and-greet-style event.
This is the first in a three-part annual Hop Exchange series aimed at empowering the (re)emerging California hop community to grow the world’s most exceptional hops once again. The first event is a meet-and-greet where farmers and brewers can get to know one another, the second event will be held pre-harvest (~July 2014) so that farmers and brewers can sign contracts, and the final event will be held post-harvest to taste the products, discuss outcomes and carry learnings into the 2015 season. For example, a hop grower may get feedback on specific varieties that are in demand and be able to make adjustments to his 2015 plans.
No entry charge. Food provided. Bring 2 craft brews."

i drive by the farm from tahoe to east bay once a month and spotted the hops and the ruhstaller sign a while ago. Just been checking out your facebook page and I look forward to stopping by in the future for one of your events.
