I admit that I tried to squash it too. I was reading posts on my mobile device outdoors and thought a gnat or small flying insect landed on my screen and could not kill it. I figured it out after I closed one eye.

Aaahhh...it's been "bugging" me too. I've actually reached for the critter a few times.

However, I was too grateful for Flyguy's MLT instructions to complain publicly. Instead, I simply disabled GIF animation in my browser. Which unfortunately means bananas no longer dance for me and little blue guys no longer retch mustardy liquid.

It's a hardship, but I'll muddle through somehow.

Just block it with adblock if you're worried about it. That's what I do abjout annoying graphics. I liked the fly, though...even though it did fool me the first few times.

Hahaha, just saw this thread, have to admit it had me at first too. But I kinda grew to like it, in that it's-kinda-annoying-but-just-fits-so-well-I'll-deal-with-it kinda way.

I think in Firefox if you tap the Escape key it stops the moving graphics. For future reference.
