Well, first batch is doing well, and I am going to start my second batch this Sunday. My first batch is a LME, honey ale (Bare Honey Ale):mug:. "My Home Brew" store in Colorado Springs helped with recipe. What are your suggestions for my next brew? Recipes would be great. Extracts only. I have looked over the recipes here but would like some input.
Thanks

Well done on the first batch.

As for your question. It is a much asked and futile question.

It depends what you like, what you want to brew, how much you want to spend, how much time you want to spend doing it, where you want to get the ingredients from plus lots of other things that only you know.

There are many many threads recommending good recipes.

Give us some more info on what you like to drink and then maybe we can point you in the right direction. Ultimately, every beer is made the same way, it's just the ingredients that are different; so if you made the first one, you can pretty much make any style you want.

OK, sorry to be vague before. How about a nice Amber, slightly bitter. Got all day to prepare it but would like to be drinking it in 4 to 6 weeks.
Thanks

I'd go for a nice amber with an extra pinch of hops.
I'd take my time brewing it and bottle at around 2 - 4 weeks so I could drink it in 4 -6 weeks.
Possibly looking [ame="http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:eek:fficial&hs=Zfy&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=Amber+ale+recipe&spell=1"]here[/ame] or [ame="https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f82/"]here[/ame] for ideas.

How does that sound. ;)
