I was getting something to eat with my wife on Saturday. There was a couple there with a cute baby. We all sat down at adjacent tables. I had a Captain Lawrence Clearwater Kolsch, first time I tried it. It's very good, I offered it to my wife to try. The other guy was drinking it too, and asked if I liked it. "I do! How about you?" I answered.
"I make it." he replied.
We were about 90 miles from that brewery, and he is the Brewing Manager. We chatted about beer, he started as a homebrewer, and was very kind and friendly. He gave me his card, and told me he'd be happy to answer any questions.
Beer guys are good guys.
