I am making cider and the yeast blew the airlock off over the first night. I siphoned some out and put it back together and took the cap off my S shaped airlock. It seemed to then have a great, fast speed of fermenting. A day or two later I decided to add some pectic enzyme to clear it up. Now there is barely any action going on. I can barely see any yeast on top. It's only been a max of maybe 4 days. I added a decent amount of brown sugar and yeast nutrient prior to pitching my yeast. What did I do wrong or is this normal?
Thanks!
