Hey all,

I am looking for a new recipe to give a go, and I came across The Innkeeper Ale, by Northern Brewer. It is available here: The Inn Keeper Extract Kit -- Kit Inventory Sheet

I really want to make this beer, but the yeast is seasonal and not currently available. Any suggestions on how to determine what a good substitute product would be? I am kind of new to Homebrewing, and I havn't varied from a recipe yet.

The yeast needed is: Wyeast #1469 West Yorkshire Ale

Any suggestions / pointers are greatly appreciated.

im no expert but i have substituted yeasts by just reading the descriptions... i.e. if it produces earthy vs. fruity tones try to find one that has similar description.....
