Yeast starter sediment?

Just curious if this weird gray layer on top of my starter (made fresh yesterday on a stir plate, just moved containers) is sediment or what?

I noticed it's the same color as my hot break when I make boil my starters.

Looks like break material to me. Either way, you have yeast on the bottom. Pitch away!
