I am putting together an order for AHS, and since I am going to be using some harvested yeast I wanted to go ahead and get some yeast nutrient.

I am primarily going to be using it in starters. Can anyone recommend a good brand/variety?

Here are the only one I have found that don't specifically say add to the boil:
Fermax Yeast Nutrient $1.89 (12 tsp, 1 tsp/gallon)
Yest Nutrient (Di-ammonium phosphate) $1.49 (12 tsp, 1 tsp/gallon)

I think it's OK to put in boil in last 5 minutes.
Does anyone use multiple yeast nutrients ?

Well, I had been thinking I would just add it to my starter as opposed to the boil. Get my harvested yest up and kicking before I pitch.

fwiw, I have seen nutritional yeast (yeast hulls, avail from a local health food store) suggested as a low cost alternative to d-phosphates.

I've been using both, yeast nutrient and DAP, in both my starters, a pinch of each, and boil, maybe a teaspoon of each. I always have fast starting, healthy fermentations. It's kind of a "if it's not broke, don't fix it" thing for me.
