I used Lutra kveik yeast to make a batch of mead. I harvested the yeast for future use.

I've got enough mead fermenting and in stock, so I want to use the harvested Lutra on a hazy IPA tonight.

OK to do after it was used to create a mead?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. A mead fermentation is not, IMO, a good place for healthy yeast propagation. The high gravity and nutrient poor environment aren't ideal.

And, the sugar profiles of the IPA and mead are very different.

That said, I'm sure you'd make beer, but IMO you wouldn't be giving it the best possible yeast.
