That is cool........ Would make an awesome poster for the brewroom.... arranging all the yeast into an actual tree, showing relationship and descent.

I read this yesterday. It is very cool. Someone commented and said they would love to know if there were lost strains; I think that's a good idea.

That's a pretty awesome article. I recommend clicking the NY Times article they are discussing to get the full story. It's also pretty neat that the Nobel Prize partial awardee had an impact on our hobby. Lots of good information in there.
