If The layer of trub under the beer is where the yeast is. It's a mixture of yeast and debris from fermentation. So how do i seperate it to get to the yeast? To me this looks like a accident waiting to happen. Is this where the sterilized mason jars come in to play. What can i say I'm a novice. I want to learn how to harvest yeast.
