Haven’t used a snack pack for awhile. I’ve had it in the refrigerator since I received it a couple of days ago. After I activate it should I leave it in the refrigerator or leave it in room temperature for the yeast to do their work. Thanks!
My routine is to pull it out of the fridge when I get home from work and let it warm to room temp. Then a couple hours later I'd smack it and make my starter a couple hours after that. They've always been swelled tight by the time I open them to pitch.
