Wrong Keg Post

I've been out of the homebrew game for a few months now and recently decided to get some brews going again.

That's all well and good but now I'm completely dissembling all of my kegs, cleaning, and putting them back together. I'm realizing 4 out of my 6 kegs are Cornelius and the other 2 are Super Challenger VI. Turns out all my posts and poppets are wrong. I never realized this before since I only ever cleaned one at a time.

I've never had any leaking problems over the last few years but now I'm thinking I should replace them all. I remember I got most of them from Keg Connection when I got my keezer setup. Thoughts?

I've been using corney kegs for the past 4 years and they have given me a few problems. With 3 poppets and a ton of O-rings, they can be a pain in the butt. I know this is not what you are looking for; but I switched over to sanke fittings on everything. No problems at all

I'm not understanding the problem... did you get all the parts mixed up and now you're confused? Are you wanting to replace everything just because?
The PR valves are easy... get the universals and they will fit everything.
The posts are keg specific, and if you separate them into groups of in and out, then look at the styles, you should see that 2 are one kind, and 4 are another. You can get new o-rings for anything, but unless they are actually damaged, they don't need to be replaced.

4 of my 6 kegs are Cornelius however all 12 post are firestone. I identified them thanks to http://www.dresselbrew.com/Keg_Info.htm but now I'm wondering why they were incorrect to begin with...I guess I just needed to vent.

oh and 11 of the 12 poppets are Cornelius and only 1 is a firestone

Not all of those pictures on that website are accurate. Many look the same on the outside. The threads on the inside are different. Many times the firestone posts will have "hanson" stamped into the post.

That's not good. Any way to find out which is which? I'd rather not buy new posts but I also don't want to strip the threading.

If it's the wrong thread for the wrong keg it will barely thread at all. I piece together kegs using pin lock canisters and ball lock posts all the time for my personal kegorator. I've never stopped to check which kegs the ball lock posts originally came off. If they thread on they'll seal regardless. If there's any resistance when threading onto the keg it's the wrong post. As far as poppets go, order a dozen "Universal Poppets" and call it a day. They work on every post I've ever come across. I work at a LHBS and recondition hundreds of kegs for resale. We get all different kegs and make them all work before going out the door. It's not nearly as complicated as some people make it out to be...
