I plan on making this. Never done AG yet but want to make most equipment my self. Any input would be great!

I'm assuming you plan on tying these together with tees at you little cross pieces? I'm sure it will work. I don't happen to think it will work as well as a false bottom in a round cooler and it will be a hell of a lot harder to clean.

Do you plan on fly or batch sparging?
